O Lord, my God, You have called me to surrender,
Not as a loss, but as a gift,
A yielding of my heart to Your will,
A quiet release of my fears into Your hands.
You are the keeper of my soul,
The One who knows my thoughts before I speak,
The One who holds my future in Your perfect plan.
Teach me, O God, to let go of control,
To lay my burdens at Your feet.
For Your ways are higher than my ways,
And Your thoughts beyond my understanding.
You have set the heavens in motion,
And commanded the seas to stay within their bounds.
How much more, O Lord, will You guide my steps,
And lead me along the path of righteousness?
In my surrender, I find freedom,
For You take my worry and replace it with peace.
You lift the weight of my uncertainty,
And clothe me in the garment of trust.
You are the potter, and I am the clay;
Mold me, O Lord, into the shape of Your desire.
Let my heart align with Your will,
And my spirit rejoice in Your purpose.
When doubt rises within me,
I will remember Your faithfulness.
When fear whispers lies to my soul,
I will cling to the truth of Your promises.
For You have said, “Do not be afraid, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.”
These words are my shield in the storm,
My refuge in the battle.
O Lord, You have shown me that surrender is not weakness,
But strength found in You.
It is the courage to trust what I cannot see,
And the wisdom to rest in what I know to be true:
That You are good, and Your love endures forever.
Your hand upholds the righteous,
And Your mercy covers all who call upon Your name.
In surrender, I find joy,
For my burdens are no longer my own.
You carry them with the strength of the everlasting,
And I am free to walk in the light of Your grace.
You lead me beside still waters,
And restore my soul with Your peace.
You prepare a table before me,
And anoint my head with the oil of gladness.
Blessed are You, O God of love and mercy,
For You have taught me to trust,
To release my striving and rest in Your plan.
I will lift my hands in surrender,
And my voice in praise,
For You are my God, my refuge, and my salvation.
Forever will I trust in You,
And forever will I rejoice in Your unfailing love.
