A Psalm of Assurance

O Lord, my God, You are my strength and my shield,
My heart rests secure in the promises of Your Word.

Though the world may shake and the storms may rise,
I will not fear, for You are with me.

You have spoken, O Lord, and Your Word is unchanging.
You have promised, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

In these words, I find my anchor,
A refuge that cannot be moved.

When darkness surrounds me,
Your light shines brighter.
When doubt whispers in my heart,
Your truth speaks louder.
You remind me that You are my God,
And I am safe in Your arms.

O Lord, You are the rock beneath my feet,
The firm foundation upon which I stand.

Though the waters rise and the winds howl,
Your love holds me steady.

You have said, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by name; you are Mine.”

These words are written on my heart,
And they give me courage for each new day.

Teach me, O God, to hold onto Your promises,
To remember the times You have delivered me.

For You have been faithful in the past,
And I know You will be faithful again.

Your plans for me are good,
And Your timing is perfect beyond my understanding.

When I feel the weight of uncertainty,
I will lift my eyes to You.

When the path ahead is unclear,
I will trust in Your guidance.

For You, O Lord, are my shepherd,
And I lack nothing in Your care.

You lead me beside still waters,
And restore my soul with peace.

O God, Your assurance is my comfort,
Your promises, my hope.

You have said that all things work together for good,
For those who love You and are called by Your name.

I hold fast to this truth,
Knowing that You are working even now,
In ways I cannot yet see.

Blessed are You, O Lord of heaven and earth,
For You are faithful and true.

I will praise You for the assurance of Your love,
And for the peace that fills my soul.

Forever will I trust in Your promises,
And forever will I rest in Your care,
For You are my God, my Savior, and my King.
