O Lord, my God, You are the light upon my path,
The One who goes before me and prepares the way.
In Your promises, my heart finds its joy,
And in Your faithfulness, my soul is at peace.
I lift my eyes to You, O God,
For the dawn of Your plan draws near.
Each day brings me closer to the love You have spoken of,
A love that reflects Your grace and truth.
I wait with eager anticipation, O Lord,
Not in haste, but in hope,
Knowing that Your timing is perfect,
And Your plans are good beyond measure.
Her beauty is a glimpse of heaven,
Her heart a testament to Your craftsmanship.
You have shaped her with care, O God,
And written her name upon my heart.
I long for the day when our paths will meet,
When love will bloom in the light of Your blessing.
You have taught me, O Lord,
That anticipation is not the rushing of the heart,
But the quiet confidence of trust.
As the rivers flow toward the sea,
So does my love flow toward her,
Guided by Your Spirit, steady and sure.
Each prayer I lift is a step toward her,
Each moment of waiting, a thread in the tapestry You weave.
You are the author of this story, O God,

Though I cannot yet see the end,
