O Lord, my God, You are near to me,
Closer than the breath in my lungs,
Closer than the beat of my heart.
In Your presence, I find peace,
And in Your nearness, I find joy.
Though I wait for the day she walks beside me,
I know that You are already here,
Guiding my steps and steadying my soul.
Your love fills the quiet spaces of longing,
And Your Spirit reminds me
That I am never alone.
Her beauty is a reflection of Your light, O God,
And her heart carries the warmth of Your love.
Even from afar, I feel her presence,
A gift You have placed within my life.
And in this, I rejoice,
For she is a reminder of Your goodness,
And Your love shines through her smile.
Teach me, O Lord, to treasure this time,
To see Your hand in every moment of waiting.
For it is in the waiting that I have come to know You more,
To rest in Your promises and rejoice in Your presence.
You are the God who fills the empty spaces,
Who turns longing into worship,
And hope into praise.
Her laughter is the song I long to hear,
But even now, O God, I hear the melody of Your love.
Her kindness is a light I yearn to hold close,
Yet even now, I am surrounded by Your mercy.
You have given me joy not only in what is to come,
But in this very moment,
In the knowledge that You are with me always.
Blessed are You, O God of infinite love,
For You have shown me that joy is not found in waiting’s end,
But in the journey itself,
And in the presence of the One who walks beside me.
Forever will I praise You, O Lord,
For You are my joy, my peace, and my strength.
You are the One who has placed love within my heart,
And the One who will see it fulfilled in Your perfect time.
O God, I thank You for her,
For the beauty she brings into my life,
And for the joy of knowing her.
May my love for her reflect my love for You,
A love that is patient, kind, and full of grace.
Forever will I sing of Your goodness,
