A Psalm of Praise in the Waiting

O Lord, my God, You have filled my heart with love,
A love that sees beauty in every part of her.
It is not just her smile that brightens my days,
Nor only her laughter that lifts my soul.
It is the fullness of who she is, O Lord,
Her strength, her gentleness, her wisdom, her grace—
Every quality speaks of Your artistry.

You have created her in Your image,
And in her, I see the reflection of Your glory.
Her heart carries the tenderness of Your mercy,
Her spirit moves with the light of Your truth.

She is not a fleeting thought, O God,
But a masterpiece woven into the story of my life.
For this, I praise You,
And for her, I give You thanks with all my being.

Though I wait for the day when our paths will unite,
I will not grow weary, for I trust in Your timing.
Each moment of waiting is a moment of praise,
For You are the God who brings all things together for good.

In the stillness, You remind me of Your faithfulness,
And in the quiet, You whisper, “Be patient, My child.”
I rest in these words, O Lord,
And I rejoice in the hope You have placed within me.

Her beauty is more than the eye can see,
For it shines from within, a radiance born of Your Spirit.

Her kindness, her strength, her courage, her joy—
Each quality is a gift You have given her,
And each draws me closer to You,
For in loving her, I am reminded of Your boundless love.

Teach me, O God, to honor her fully,
To see her as You see her,
Not just in the moments of joy,
But in the complexities of her heart,
In her triumphs and in her struggles.

Let my love be patient, steady, and true,
A reflection of the love You have shown to me.

I will praise You in the waiting, O Lord,
For even now, You are at work.
You are preparing me for her,
And her for me,
And Your hand is guiding every step we take.

I will not doubt Your plan,
For Your promises are sure,
And Your timing is perfect.

Blessed are You, O God of infinite love,
For You have written her name upon my heart.
I will trust in You, not just for the destination,
But for the journey itself.
And I will give thanks, not just for the love I await,
But for the lessons You are teaching me now.

Forever will I praise You, O Lord,
For the gift of her and the fullness of who she is.
You are my God, my strength, and my joy,
And in You, my heart will rest all my days.
