O Lord, my God, You have taught me to love,
Not as the world loves, fleeting and self-seeking,
But with a love rooted in You—
Patient, faithful, and enduring through all things.
This love You have placed within my heart is not a burden,
But a gift, a calling, a reflection of Your own love for us.
In loving her, I honor You, O God,
For she is fearfully and wonderfully made.
Her kindness reflects Your mercy,
Her beauty speaks of Your creation’s glory,
And her heart shines with the light of Your Spirit.
You have called me to obedience, O Lord,
Not only in waiting, but in loving with humility.
Teach me to cherish her as You cherish us,
To serve her with a heart full of grace,
And to walk in Your ways as I await Your perfect plan.
O God, my heart desires to see her smile,
To hear her laughter, to share in the joy of her presence.
Yet even in the waiting, I find purpose,
For in every moment, You are shaping my heart
To love as You love—selfless and true.
You remind me, O Lord, that love is not a demand,
But a gift freely given.
And so, I offer this love to her,
Not with expectation, but with trust in Your will.
For You are the author of all love,
And in You, this love finds its meaning.
Blessed are You, O God, for the love You have placed in my heart,
For the wisdom You have given me to honor it,
And for the patience to walk this path in obedience.
May my love for her be a reflection of my love for You,
A testament to Your goodness and grace.
I trust in Your promises, O God,
And I trust that in Your perfect timing,
Love will find its fulfillment.
Until that day, I will love her from afar,
With a heart full of hope,
And a spirit anchored in Your faithfulness.
Forever will I give thanks to You, O Lord,
For the blessing of loving her,
For the joy of knowing her,
And for the hope of all that is yet to come.
You are my God, my guide, and my salvation,
And in You, I place my trust forever.
